Hi there, Have a client running a dell system with P IV 1.8Ghz, WinXP Home,and Word 2002 (Office XP) System is in a business, accessing all files over a 100 Mbps network, (peer to peer), system acting as a server also dell P IV WinXP Home, network appears to be running correctly , no collisions, data integrity good, but Word 2002, when accessing documents over the network, is showing severe latency while editing. Went to MS and they indicated that this was an issue, could be fixed by increasing the default cache size from 64K to 512/1024 tried this, not successful, any ideas?Just out of interest. I have a little lump at the base of my throat, off to the left side, near the indentation between the tips of my collarbone. I noticed it a few weeks ago, went to my GP and he referred me to an ENT doctor. I have an appointment next week. My GP said in his referral that it's on the left part of my thyroid. It feels longer than it is wide. I'm wondering if anyone knows what a nodule feels like...
