I got Graham cracker all ready made pie crust and pumpkin puree condensed milk and Vanilla extract. Do you guys have any suggestion on making a fantastic pumpkin pie with these ingredients? I'm not available to go to the store either.HELP!!do you have vanilla pudding, cool whip, cream cheese, all or any??It will be difficult to make a pumpkin pie with those few ingredients. You really need the spices---cloves, cinnamon, ginger and sugar. You also would definitely need eggs. Maybe you could make a pumpkin mousse. Good luck.Do you have eggs?...... - 2009-07-04

» Birds in UK--dying from trichomoniasis epidemic

Could someone in the UK describe the symptoms of this outbreak other than what's listed in this article. Inability to fly, inability to breathe, lethargy could be any of a vast number of diseases. Birds with trichomoniasis are often asymptomatic, so finding it in a few dead birds is hardly a diagnosis of what killed them. Even the title of this article is silly--it's not a virus, and this is the London Times reporting on it. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/printFriendly/0,,1-2-2355593-2,00.html The Times September 13, 2006 Garden finches fall prey to deadly virus ...... - 2009-07-04

» What makes Japanese business efficient ?

I've been observing the differences in the way Japanese and Westerners (with noticeable difference between those) work. Here are a few good points about the Japanese way that should be copied more systematically in the West. - When a shop, restaurant or company office needs redecoration or refurbishing, do it as quickly as possible so as not to distrub business (and maybe lose customers or money). Japanese plan everything perfectly and chance a whole restaurant (repaint, change furniture, lights, all !) in just one night. They might close one day, but ideally they should do everything after the opening hours, that is at night. To accelerate the process, engage as many people as possible to be sure to finish in time. The same goes wit...... - 2009-07-04

Unless they blush, which won't show much anyway, no dark skin is naturally red. My dark skinned friend was laughing at another dark skinned girl for putting on blush as her skintone just won't be ever naturally red or flushed. Also, the redness is down to the lightness of the skintone, i'm not sure why, but it's always been the case. =]Of course they can, though it won't show.Yes, everyone blushes. no because they have dark skin.and having a red cheeks only appear when you have white skin or being under the sun for a long time or not so....... - 2009-07-04

Hi. I'm considering buying a Mamiya 645 AF and I'm hoping that I can get some feedback on this camera. Does anyone know anything about this camera? Can someone also let me know their opinion on which flash I would want for this camera? And please let me know if there is something I should know about this camera. All info is greatly appreciated. I know nothing about medium format equipment. Thanks!!You're talking about the older one? Not the 645 Pro?I'm not sure. Info on both or either would be appreciated. The older one has lots of cheap lenses available on the used market. However, it's fully manual, including lack of meter. » America Should Get Out of Japan, Now!!!

First, I will say that Japan brought its problems on itself, when it bombed Pearl Harbor. Also, Japan had no business invading China, Okinawa, the Philippines, and the numerous other countries. Also, Japan was guilty of attrocities toward civilians and prisoners of war. As much as some of you irrationally hate America, America saved Japan from a real hell--being taken over by the former Soviet Union! Plus, unlike any other war victor in all of history--America gave you your country back. Plus, America gave you billions of dollars in aid to develop into a major economic power, modernizing your infrastructure, such that--in many ways, such as in the steel industry--it surpassed the U.S. Now, it is a new century in a new millenium. Source: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/30/opinion/30farley.html Op-Ed Contributor Bee by Bee By JONATHAN DAVID FARLEY Published: June 30, 2008 Pasadena, Calif. IN the closing months of 2006, thousands of American bee hives were found to be almost entirely devoid of bees, victims of a mysterious phenomenon now known as colony collapse disorder. A study of 150,000 managed bee colonies in 15 states, commissioned by the Apiary Inspectors of America, found that from September 2006 to March 2007, roughly one-third of the colonies were lost. Bee keepers have suffered similar unexplained losses in the past, and not all of the hives in the survey were lost to whatever is causing colony collapse. But people are understandably worried th...... - 2009-07-04

I am a software developer and will have three areas of business: consulting, selling services and selling products. I am looking for trends over a couple of years (preferably 5) for small companies in each of these sectors (I assume they will be different) and their performance so that I can model after them. I pretty much just trusted that God had someone in mind and that everything would happen in His time. I got married to a wonderful man a little over a year ago and we are very happy. So, you should do both. Pray and then wait for God's timing. :)I prayed for a spouse, but in the meantime, I spent alot of time being affirmed by God and doing his work. I want to major in business, probably with a focus on marketing but that could change. Raul B What provine or state, you will like to enroll. You have to think about "where". You will enroll on Spring 2009, that means around Mars 2009, because January 2009 wテャl be Winter 2009. Your major business that's cool. Good luck....... - 2009-07-04

» What does a thyroid nodule feel like?

I have a little lump at the base of my throat, off to the left side, near the indentation between the tips of my collarbone. I noticed it a few weeks ago, went to my GP and he referred me to an ENT doctor. I have an appointment next week. My GP said in his referral that it's on the left part of my thyroid. It feels longer than it is wide. I'm wondering if anyone knows what a nodule feels like... I guess I'm just worried that it might be something serious!!Usually the thyroid nodules are up near the center of the throat (as in to the side of where the adam's apple), not near the collarbone. I had one that stuck out so I was the one that found it and it was about the size of a walnut at took over the entire side of th...... - 2009-07-04

»  lines follow cursor

newbie needs help, on your main page you have a clip where there is a horizontal and vertical line and they intersect where your mouse pointer is and then they follow the mouse around. I've tried several different approaches to get this effect. I can have the lines follow the mouse around but it just isn't the same as yours. I'm not looking for handouts, but if possible just point me in the right direction. Thanks for your timeHello, I used the follow cursor command to make the lines follow the mouse. The URL is: www.kirupa.com/developer/...follow.asp (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash5/follow.asp) I used one horizontal and vertical line. I made the vertical and horizontal lines twice as long as my movie stage. That is so that ev...... - 2009-07-04

» Help translate some sentences into Nihongo

Hello! Hmm I dont remember the proper thread for this purpose but I need a few sentences translated into Japanese such as: - I apologize for not having written in such a long time - Thank you for the omamori and card and thank you for your concern about my safety. I hope you, your family, and your new baby are doing alright. (she gave me an omamori which says on the front "prevent calamities omamori") - How was is your year so far? - thank you for your kind words. - I am sorry I could not send a souvenier in return as in the USA, especially in the area I live there are no good things to give as souvenier. Thank you so much for your help. I have not written to my pen pal in ages.I remember in another thread that you have be...... - 2009-07-04

» Was the SNL skit of governor Patterson over the line?>?

This past Saturday SNL aired a sketch where Fred Armisen portrayed Governor Patterson, who is blind. Now there seems to be this big uproar about how offensive it was. How do you feel about it. Did SNL step their bounds or were they just being SNL.They went a little too far. It's not nice to make fun of someone for their disability. He didn't choose to be blind.I did not like it but i liked how they did Gov. Blagojevich..Saturday Night Live makes fun of everyone. Was it a little distasteful? Yes, but a lot of their skits are. I think that we as a country have become a little too crazy about political correctness. They should have poked fun at the fact that he purchased a $21,000 antique turkish rug as he is ordering state agenc...... - 2009-07-04

» Detroit Lions question ?

would the lions have gon anywhere with these three picks QB: Kyle Boller WR: Chad Johnson Asante Samuel Head Coach. Ray Rhodes who was a very good coordinator I think anybody would be an improvement over Culpepper right now so i would say yes to Boller. However instead of Boller about trying to sign JP losman instead. As far as chad johnson this could really help the offense. It would free up Calvin and defiantly help move the chains. As far as Samuel goes that could help bout would have the least impact. Espically if they contintue to run the tampa 2. They should have pick up Vilma last year but stupid millen is retarded. Ray Rhodes not sure about head coach but a coordinator yes. When Ray Rhodes coached for the Packers, he wa...... - 2009-07-04

» Poll>Would you rather be a born pilot or a born Sailor?

a sailor of a big beautiful sailboat :)a pilot. It would be so cool, a baby born with flying goggles lol Seriously, I would love to learn to fly one day. I spent the summer perfecting my technique on Flightgear and have since become quite knowledgable in avaition laws and flight physics. Too much free time in the summer, I think you'll agree lolI love to sail because you can be one with the ocean and out seeing the world. Sailing is a great way to relax. But I'm going to go with a pilot. The rush of learning how to manuever a jet would be awesome. I've always been a lover of airplanes and jets.Born pilot. There just seems to be more freedom moving through the air. But then again, if your engine dies, you don't hav...... - 2009-07-04

» Request: Plundered.org Browsing/Playing Script

I have gotten most everything to play fine using the "Send To XBMC Firefox Extension" Their are 3 Categories of interest to XBMC Video, Audio, and Image The pages are structured as plundered.org/video/page1.htm gives you 20 links. This is the same for each section and pages can go upto 50 or higher. There are two columns, popular and most recent. Now, The links on the main page take the form http://www.plunder.com/LSD-Troops-download-473.htm Thats the link from the mainpage, to a another page that gives you...... - 2009-07-04

» Do you believe that a human life is worth more than another animal's life?

I see so many people who will cry over the death of animals but never even give a second thought to the death of humans. people who will change their lifestyle/diet to protect animals while they walk around in clothes from a sweatshop. do you think these people are wrong? are they right? are humans more valuable than animals? A human being is not an animal. We have souls, they don't. The life of the least of people is worth more than the life of the greatest of animals. Now, that being said, we should love and cherish all of our fellow creatures.Insisting on the comparison for two different things basically forces a valuations into the system, that is the cause of many wrong doings. Discrimination and genocide are sta...... - 2009-07-04

» Parting with some rare cameras!

After years and years of displaying my rarer cameras I decided to sell them on E-bay. My heart is aching as we speak but I'd rather see them go to another good collector... (I also need the money :) ) They are: -a No.2 Folding Bull's Eye (made from 1899 to 1901) with cherry wood face plate and folding bed; -a No.3 Kodak Jr., very rare string activated shutter, box camera with focusing lens (made between 1890-1897). If anyone's interested, go to E-bay and look for my E-bay ID, which is Mitica10 and items that I have for sale. Otherwise, please feel my heart aches... :D :D...... - 2009-07-04

» Could somebody please help me with this 'poem'?

...Or spell, I'm not so sure, since it is quite complicated. I can understand some individual words, but to judge this as a whole is a tad difficult for me. Could somebody please help me with the translation, or just the meaning of this poem/ spell? This is an extract from a manga series I am reading, and before this frame there is no other dialogue that has this person. The image is in the attachment ( I know the text is small, please excuse me for that, I cannot make it any bigger.) Please help and thank you :)そいぶしにはらみし花のかきつばた みな紫のゆかり美し Probably the poem is related to the Tale of Genji or Ariwarano Narihira.
