What's a good enough laptop to play GTA IV?
  • * OS: Windows XP SP2
    * Processor: Dual core processor (Intel Pentium D or better)
    * RAM: 2GB
    * Hard Drive: 18GB free hard disk space
    * Video Card: 512MB Direct3D 10 compatible video card or Direct3D 9 card compatible with Shader
    * Drive: DVD-ROM dual-layer drive


  • Laptops , don't like games because the graphics cards are not designed for it , they are inadequately cooled and lose performance . I run coh on my amilo 64 4000 , but I had to drill 30 holes into the bottom case to cool the cpu and memory . It also has a nonshared graphics memory , but the card gets burning hot .I use a fan cool pad . Danger , once overheated your laptop will be hardware damaged!


  • only thing lacking is probably the hard drive space but other than that looks like a winner...I like HP myself but any machine with those numbers should be ok...game requirements...ok then maybe you should post what you have
    ...i dont think i have ever seen a game that is 18 gigs big...maybe...1.8 gigs...the biggest thing is the processor ..then the graphics card ...you will need both to be ...that good
